History / About Us
People say that necessity is the Mother of all invention.... it couldn't be more true! When Zoë and her newborn first moved to Peterborough, she planned on using a diaper service. Only problem was.... there was none. So Zoë decided to buy cloth and wash at home. Alas, a new problem... no business in Peterborough sold prefold cloth diapers! As you can guess... the rest is history. In the short two and a half years that Changing Ways has been in business, Zoë has already won the 2006 Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce 'Green Award,' been a finalist for the 2007 Chamber 'Environmental Practices Award,' and kept over 94000 (yes, that says ninety-four thousand!) diapers out of our local landfills. That's about 23 tonnes of waste!

Zoë strives
to improve her business, so any suggestions for products or service
ideas are very welcome. If necessity is the Mother of all
invention, it is also the fine tuner!
